A 3000-word written report of a global health case-study chosen from past or contemporary key global health and healthcare issues.

This should demonstrate your ability to choose a relevant global health and healthcare issue. It could be a UK health and healthcare issue or something from abroad that clearly has a global context. You will be expected to:

1. Justify why the chosen case-study fits into global health.

2. Articulate the global context and extent to which the health issue has happened / is happening.

3. Explain and discuss the health issue/s involved and their health implications to people in a specific country / countries around the world. This should also analyse the key global factors shaping the local-global health and non-health outcomes.

4. Critique the local and global solutions developed, including the key actors / stakeholders involved in this global health case-study.

5. Reflect on and consider the implications of the case-study on global health equity and ethical issues, and for research, policy and practice in global health and healthcare; including your own work / practice.
