Assessment Task

You will produce a comprehensive group presentation on a social enterprise of your choice, (other than the 5 listed below) their aims and values, what they do, their impact, and the challenges they face.

Ensure your tutor approves your choice of social enterprise before starting to research.

Do not approach the following 5 Social Enterprises – Bicycle Works, Community Wood Recycling, Community/Company Shop, Change Please or Big River Bakery social enterprises.  Do not worry, there are literally thousands more Social Enterprises to choose from.

You will need to use the research and knowledge gained from the two formative assessments that you completed as a group to develop formative slides and presentation outlining your findings, analysis, and recommendations/solutions to the client. You need to quote from and refer to the answers you received to your interview questions within your summative presentation.

You will be guided and supported through the assignments and will receive constructive feedback and comments from the tutor to improve your work in readiness for final submission.
