Most of the structures that existed before the World War II were rejected after the period (O`Connor, 57). These cities were initially built traditionally with low-rise buildings, but after the war , the urban land supported the taller buildings development, which were firm structured that were enabled by the technological improvements. Projects were put in place to ensure the older temporary and unpleasant structures have been demolished to pave way for the modern ones. Several issues can distinguish the City Design approaches before and after the Second World War. The cities of the chronicles of the Second World War were barely in good shape and their structures were worn out, especially for the poor where structures were slums (Hartman, 86). The exploration of the various parts of the world by veterans may have led to the need for improvements in their own land.
