Course Evaluation & Feedback
UIU is committed to providing an exceptional learning experience for every student. To achieve this, we believe in the power of continuous improvement, and your feedback is an invaluable part of this process. Toward the end of this course, you will be invited to participate in a brief student opinion survey. This survey consists of only 13 questions and is designed to gather your insights and reflections on your experience in this course. We collect this data first to enhance future courses. Your feedback helps us identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement in our classes. By sharing your experiences, you directly contribute to improving future students` education quality. Second, we want to understand the student experience: Beyond this course, your input provides a snapshot of the broader student experience at UIU. This understanding helps us make informed decisions that benefit the entire student body.
Incompletes
Occasionally it becomes necessary for an instructor to award a student a grade of incomplete (“I”). An incomplete grade is exceptional and given only to students whose complete coursework has been qualitatively satisfactory but who have been unable to complete all course requirements because of documented cases of injury, illness, death in family, personal crisis, military deployments, or other circumstances beyond their control. This grade should not be awarded in cases where the student “fell behind” due to absences without explanation, other class commitments, and/or work obligations.
