A: It is important for every teacher to see that the students understand the concepts being taught. It feels good to see that students get what you are saying.

A: The main reason I can’t be able to write or concentrate on studies outside my workplace is mainly because of my family. In the morning have to get my children who are in the elementary school ready. I also have to provide some time for family recreation activities. My schedule at school is quite dynamic as it changes with every new semester hence I have to adjust. The number of lessons is not the same every day hence some days are more hectic than others. The days when I wind up my school work early I utilize the extra time for my children’s after school activities (Hudley and Adele 197).

A: My time schedule is highly structured and I make sure to handle what I am required at the right time to avoid confusion. Proper time management enables me to serve all my priorities equitably.

A: I would consider my ability to write as strength in my profession. Writing allows me to amass knowledge regarding various topics in my profession. It also enables me to infer to different opinions while teaching without confusing my students.

A: I have always read to them since they were very young. I buy wide variety of books and magazines for them every now and then. I also challenge them to ask me questions based on their readings which make it fun. I believe learning is a process which should start at a tender age. In addition, constant practice improves literacy learning capabilities.

Q: Do you apply the same kind of approach when teaching your scholars?

A: Yes. Literature has proved to be fun with most of my students but some of them view it as a task which makes learning difficult.

Q: What efforts have you made in the previous year to better yourself in the faculty?

My efforts have been directed to my teaching skills. I have conducted depth research on certain teaching skills such as action learning which would enable my students to understand learning concepts better. I have also attended several workshops with my colleagues in the faculty which have improved my teaching experience
