One of the key challenges that majority of young adult women do not get enough calcium and vitamin D in their daily intake. Background of study: Osteoporosis is a metabolic bone malady that commonly affects approximately 25-35 million Americans. The malady causes 1.3-1.5 million fractures yearly. Osteoporotic fractures hamper one`s movement especially among affected women. However, prevention costs are far much lesser than treatment of osteoporosis.
