Critically evaluate theories and models of sustain

Select two different sustainability issues that create significant management challenges for event industry operators (confirm your choices with the lecturer before you begin to make sure they are appropriate).

Use real-life examples from industry wherever appropriate throughout your essay.

1)         For each chosen issue explain why event operators have a social responsibility to manage it

2)         Provide two examples of management approaches (see examples below) that can be used by operators to deal with the issues identified and explain how each approach can be used in practice

3)         Critically evaluate the effectiveness of the approaches highlighted in creating both sustainability and business benefits

4)         For event industry operators, critically evaluate business opportunities that may be created by demonstrating effective sustainability management to stakeholders, particularly with regards to event audiences and their engagement with sustainability management
