2. To what extent does the state hamper the success of a capitalist economy, answer with reference to at least one of Smith, Keynes, Hayek or Friedman?
3. For an organisation of your choice, analyse the extent to which a contemporary organisation’s activities reflect neoliberal political economy.
4. Discuss the importance of archetypes for leadership.
5. Choose one new work form discussed in a sub-section of the literature review on pp. 320-326 of the Smith 1997 (job design) paper. Find more literature and discuss the characteristics of the work form, its implementation and positive and negative consequences for the employees.
6. Critically review Richard Edward’s book “Contested Terrain”. Your review should not only provide a rendition of Edwards’ argument but also give a critical evaluation of the text. The evaluation should make reference to other authors as well.Bespoke Questions
